Ensembles

Our Beginning Band program is led by Director Allison Edge.

Any Epping student in 4th and 5th grade who is interested in playing an instrument may join band. 

Band students meet twice a week. Once in the morning at 7:30 prior to the start of school for a full band rehearsal, and once during the school day for instrument lessons. Band students will miss one UA class a week. Band lesson days rotate to ensure students will not frequently miss the same UA class. 

We have 3 performances each year: a December holiday concert, a March Music In Our Schools Month concert, and a May end of year concert.

Elementary Chorus is open to students in grades 3, 4 & 5 and meets once a week after school. Students may join for one session but are encouraged to stay for both! Anyone can join who has an interest in singing more challenging music. Students will work on the basics of choral singing and will be introduced to singing in two parts. 

We have a December holiday concert, a March Music In Our Schools Month concert, and a May end of year concert each year. Each session will participate in one formal concert and will have additional performance opportunities as they arise.
